Reciprocity for Visitors from other Yacht Clubs

Members of most recognized yacht clubs are welcome to CCYC's clubhouse facilities. It's very important that visiting yachtsmen and yachtswomen secure advance reservations and register at the clubhouse office upon arrival. Please be prepared to show your current membership card. Please review the information on this page and we hope you enjoy your visit.

When visiting The Coronado Cays Yacht Club by water...

If this is your first visit to CCYC, arrival by boat can be tricky. The Coronado Cays Yacht Club is located near the bottom of San Diego Harbor. From the sea buoy SD1 follow the main channel markers past the Coronado/San Diego bay bridge to R40 (R40 is the last channel marker of the main channel.)

From there, if you go straight, you will be in the Chula Vista channel. You will need to make a right turn at R40. There will be a series of concrete pilings going from east to west. Keep these pilings on your left. After the last piling you will find the Coronado Cays channel entrance. These will be concrete pilings channel markers “1” and “2”. Be sure to stay in the channel as the surrounding area is very shallow.

As you pass marker “11” you will see CCYC straight ahead.
